HVAC in Richmond, Kentucky

Richmond is the largest place we serve and it has a lot of rental property in it. We work for homeowners and for landlords, and we understand that those are two different jobs.

Richmond Is a Different Kind of Market

Richmond is bigger than anywhere else we serve, with a university, a rental market to match, and everything from older houses near the centre to newer subdivisions on the edges. It is also a real drive east, which we plan around rather than pretend away.

A real time, not a hopeful one

We will tell you when we can actually be there. The companies that say twenty minutes to every caller are the ones who turn up at nine at night.

Work up here gets scheduled rather than squeezed in, which is usually better for you anyway, because it means the technician arrives with the right parts instead of a promise to come back.

Worth the drive for the right work

Replacements, installations, and maintenance agreements are what we build. If you need us for a single small repair on a Tuesday afternoon, we will tell you honestly whether we are the right call.

When the Person Who Calls Is Not the Person Who Pays

HVAC on a rental is a different job, and most companies treat it exactly like a homeowner call. That is where the problems start.

The tenant reports the fault but cannot authorise the work. The owner authorises the work but is not there to let anyone in, and may not even be in the county. Somebody has to hold both ends of that, and if the contractor does not, the landlord does, usually by phone, usually at work.

A newer house is not a simpler job. It is a different one, and it rewards a company that has seen the same system fail on the same street.

What Our Customers Says

5.0 Google rating From our Google Business Profile

I have been dealing with an ongoing AC problem. Spencer came out and quickly diagnosed the issue, and fixed it properly. My system is now running better than it has in a while. Very knowledgeable and friendly technician! Highly recommended!

EM Emily Mccomas Google review, 2 months ago

Great service from someone that I trust, which is really satisfying in today's world. Very professional and knowledgeable. Pointed out a potential concern that had been missed by original installers as well as any bi-annual maintenance service. Fix was quick and saved a future potential major problem. Feel as if AC and heating now in good hands.

AJ Art Joye Google review, 2 months ago

Of course, the hottest week of the year, our AC decided to bite the dust on day one. I am glad my husband got ahold of Spencer. He came out and diagnosed the problem in minutes. He jumped straight to work going above and beyond making sure it was fixed and clean, the unit was cleaned and running like a champ!

01 Local

Do you cover Richmond and Madison County?

Yes. It is the largest place we serve, and a real drive east, so we schedule it properly and give you an honest arrival time.

02 Landlords

I own rental property. Will you deal with my tenant directly?

Yes, with your authorisation. We arrange access with whoever lives there so you are not stuck in the middle of it.

03 Landlords

Who gets the invoice on a rental job?

The owner, unless you tell us otherwise.

04 Landlords

I own several properties in Richmond. Can they be done together?

Yes, and we would prefer it. One planned run beats several separate trips for your costs and for our schedule.

05 Local

How long does it take you to get to Richmond?

It is a real drive east, and we will tell you the honest number on the phone rather than a hopeful one.

06 Local

Do you charge a trip fee for Richmond?

Ask when you call and we will tell you before we book anything. Whatever it is, you hear it up front rather than on the invoice.

07 Local

Do you answer at night in Richmond?

Yes. Emergencies are dispatched around the clock, six days a week. A rental with a tenant and no heat is treated as urgent.
